About
Sanaz Panahpour Darehshouri (SPD) is a contemporary visual artist whose practice is rooted in memory, perception, and lived experience. Her work explores how environments, cultural fragments, and everyday observations are transformed into visual language over time.
Rather than depicting subjects directly, she translates emotional and psychological imprints into abstract and conceptual forms. Her practice moves between structure and intuition, tradition and transformation, creating a dialogue between visual memory and contemporary abstraction.
With a background in Fine Arts (Graphic Design) and Theatre Arts, SPD’s work reflects an interdisciplinary understanding of space, composition, and narrative. She has been active as an artist since an early age and has exhibited internationally across Iran, Turkey, Dubai, and India.
Alongside her visual practice, she also engages in writing, which further informs the conceptual depth of her work.
